I also made her this Car seat tent/canopy from Anna Marie Horner's new fabric line, "Loulouthi". It's so beautiful, this photo just doesn't even do it justice.
These canopies are so wonderful for little babies in the infant car seats. It shields them from the sun, wind, cold, germs and nosy strangers, who want to pinch their adorable cheeks. Nothing is better than letting your baby nap, while you grocery shop, by creating a nice, cozy and dark little cocoon for them.

I also made my niece a few pacifier clips. I used my embroidery machine to personalize it for her. You can choose from a selection of pacifier clips in our Etsy shop. They make wonderful baby gifts!
I made this little snuggle blanket a few weeks ago for her and personalized this as well. My daughter has a "gangky" (as she currently calls it. Don't you just love toddler talk.) like this as well, that I purchased before she was born. She LOVES it! She can't sleep with out it, and I love that it's small enough to take with us easily. We'll be adding these to the shop soon too. But I will take customer orders right now, if you need one right away.
And then I did some sewing for my kiddos as well. I made Elissa this adorable little top and capri outfit.
I fell in love with this bright flowery print fabric at the store a few weeks ago and snatched it up, knowing I wanted to make some tops for Elissa.
I actually learned a new sewing technique making this, called shirring. I've been trying to learn to shir for a good six months now, but could never get the tension in my machine right. I finally noticed that my elastic wasn't looping into my bobbin correctly. But now I know, and I may just shir everything! It's so cute! In fact I have a few new girls outfits, coming to the shop soon for summer, that uses this shirring technique! I love it!
I used a pattern from Little Girls, Big Style: Sew a Boutique Wardrobe from 4 Easy Pattern, by Mary Abreu, that I bought a while ago, to make this outfit.
And Elissa asked me to paint to her toenails Saturday as well. She sat so still. It was too cute! She loves showing offer her pink piggies now. I'm loving how her "girly" side is really starting to show these days.
And I sewed these shorts for Cameron a month ago, but I thought this would be a good post to put it in.
I used Dana from Made's Kid Pant tutorial, again, because it's such a perfect fit for my little man. But I measured the inseam of another pair of his shorts and used that as my guide for determining the length for these shorts. Easy! But then Dana came out with this Kid Shorts tutorial a few weeks ago (after I already made my shorts). It would have made my leg openings a little nicer. Oh well. I'm not sure why I didn't think of it while I was sewing. But I have some old pants from my husband that I'm going to convert into more shorts for Cameron, so I'll make that modification, and I think I"ll try adding some pockets this time too.
